Measured foot length • official brand charts

Find a starting US shoe size by brand

Enter the measured length of your longer foot. Choose the brand and the men's or women's shoe category you are buying. adidas and Nike publish different foot-length charts. Printed JP/CM shoe labels are not physical foot length.

Uses the selected maker’s adult shoe chart and the selected shoe category. adidas sources measured heel-to-toe lengths in cm; Nike publishes foot lengths in fractional inches (centimeter equivalents shown to approximately 0.1 cm). Men's chart equivalents must never replace the women's chart. Published data ranges differ; check your model and width.

Enter your measured length, then press Enter or select Find shoe sizes.

Label comparison, not a foot-length chart. JP/CM is a printed shoe size label; it is not the length of your foot measured with a ruler. For a measured foot length in cm or inches, open the footwear maker's separate Foot Length or Heel-to-toe chart to choose a size. The US/UK/EU references here are approximate and vary by brand.

Measured inches: use the brand's physical foot-length chart

Measure your longer foot in inches. Select adidas or Nike and the men's or women's category. For adidas, the calculator converts inches using 1 inch = 2.54 cm and checks adidas Heel-toe rows. For Nike, it compares against the published Nike Foot Length (in) fractions, with approximate centimeter equivalents shown for clarity.

If your measurement lies between source rows, you see two adjacent published size options rather than an invented half step. Nike recommends sizing up between chart rows; adidas advises checking your fit preference. Measurements beyond the selected maker and category's actual published foot-length range are not extrapolated.

Keep printed size labels separate from foot measurements

The generic reference table below compares shoe-box US, UK, EU and JP/CM labels. A JP/CM size marking is not your heel-to-toe foot length; dividing the marking by 2.54 does not produce a measured foot length in inches.

Nike men's and women's foot-length sources are independent. The Nike men's chart's US Women's conversion entry is not substituted for the Nike women's Foot Length chart. Check the intended model's width and fit before selecting a final size.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Nike foot length an exact centimeter number?

Nike's source lists foot lengths in fractional inches. The calculator retains those values for the lookup and displays centimeter equivalents rounded to about 0.1 cm, not a universal size conversion.
