Measured foot length • official brand charts

Find a starting US shoe size by brand

Enter the measured length of your longer foot. Choose the brand and the men's or women's shoe category you are buying. adidas and Nike publish different foot-length charts. Printed JP/CM shoe labels are not physical foot length.

Uses the selected maker’s adult shoe chart and the selected shoe category. adidas sources measured heel-to-toe lengths in cm; Nike publishes foot lengths in fractional inches (centimeter equivalents shown to approximately 0.1 cm). Men's chart equivalents must never replace the women's chart. Published data ranges differ; check your model and width.

Enter your measured length, then press Enter or select Find shoe sizes.

Sources: adidas footwear chart, Nike men's chart and Nike women's chart (checked 2026-10-18). Sizemapped is not affiliated with either brand. Check the fit notes for your specific model.

Label comparison, not a foot-length chart. JP/CM is a printed shoe size label; it is not the length of your foot measured with a ruler. For a measured foot length in cm or inches, open the footwear maker's separate Foot Length or Heel-to-toe chart to choose a size. The US/UK/EU references here are approximate and vary by brand.

Measure the longer foot first, then use the manufacturer’s Foot Length chart; the nearby JP/CM shoe-label table is not a foot-length conversion.

Choose the brand, then use measured foot length

Measure the longer foot from heel to longest toe and select adidas or Nike plus the men's or women's shoe category. The calculator compares your measurement with that maker's published physical-foot-length chart, not its JP/CM shoe-box label. Results are only starting references for the actual shoe you plan to buy.

For example, 26.2 cm falls between adidas heel-to-toe rows 25.9 and 26.3 cm: adidas men's US 8.5 or 9, or women's US 9.5 or 10. Nike's men's US 9 and women's US 10 are each listed at 10 5/16 inches (about 26.2 cm) in their own separate foot-length charts. Nike's men's-chart US Women's conversion column is not used to size women's shoes.

Two brands, two measurement sources

adidas publishes Heel-toe (cm) rows; Nike publishes Foot Length (in) fractions. Nike inch values are converted to approximate one-decimal-centimeter references, not falsely precise centimeter measurements. Measurements between published rows show both adjacent sizes; Nike advises sizing up, while adidas's guidance depends on the fit you prefer.

The table below serves a different job: comparing printed US, UK, EU and JP/CM shoe-size labels across common conventions. Printed JP/CM labels are not physical foot lengths. Other brands and models need their own source chart; fit and width also matter.

These sources support the measurement method and help check real-world variation. They are not presented as one universal brand-size table.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Does a measured 27 cm foot need JP/CM 27?

Not necessarily. JP/CM is a printed shoe-size marking, not a measured heel-to-toe value. Select a brand and shoe category in the measured-foot tool instead.

Why can Nike men's and women's sizes differ from a men's-chart equivalence?

The calculator reads Nike's own women's Foot Length chart when you choose Women's shoes; it never infers a women's physical-foot size from the men's chart's US Women's label row.
