Enter a printed shoe-size label, not your measured foot length, to compare approximate label equivalents.
Printed size labels, not your measured foot length
Select the size system printed on a shoe label, then compare the approximate US men's, US women's, UK, EU and JP/CM shoe-label row. JP/CM 27 is a printed size label, not proof that a measured 27 cm foot requires that row.
If you measured your foot, do not enter that length as a JP/CM label. Use the maker's Foot Length or Heel-to-toe measurement column to find a suggested US size, then check width and model fit.
Why brands can disagree
These columns combine illustrative label references rather than reproducing any one manufacturer's complete table. For example, a men's US 9 may be printed as JP/CM 27 while its recommended measured foot length is around 26.2–26.3 cm in published Nike and adidas references.
Check the actual product's sizing chart; a label match does not guarantee identical internal length, width or fit.
How this guidance is checked
These sources support the measurement method and help check real-world variation. They are not presented as one universal brand-size table.
- ISO 19407:2023 — Footwear — Sizing — Conversion of sizing systems — International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Measurement-first footwear methodology and the limitation that cross-system conversions are guidance rather than guaranteed fit.
- Men's Footwear Size Chart — Nike. Manufacturer cross-check showing that foot length, labeled CM values, width, and brand-specific sizing conventions are distinct concepts.
- Footwear Size Guide — adidas. Manufacturer cross-check across heel-to-toe length and US, UK, EU, and Japan-labeled footwear sizes.
Frequently asked questions
Is JP/CM 27 the same as a 27 cm foot?
No. JP/CM is a shoe-size marking in this converter. To choose a shoe from a measured foot length, use the manufacturer's separate Foot Length or Heel-to-toe column.
Are converted shoe labels exact?
No. The comparisons are approximate; US, UK, EU and JP/CM pairings differ across makers and wearer categories.
