Label comparison, not a foot-length chart. JP/CM is a printed shoe size label; it is not the length of your foot measured with a ruler. For a measured foot length in cm or inches, open the footwear maker's separate Foot Length or Heel-to-toe chart to choose a size. The US/UK/EU references here are approximate and vary by brand.

Use foot length at the youth-to-adult boundary

Youth and adult labels can overlap. Measure the foot, then use the manufacturer’s measured Foot Length rows for both youth and adult models; do not use the adult table’s JP/CM labels as physical lengths.

Do not assume that the same numeral means the same length once the labeling category changes.

Growth room is not a conversion rule

Choose the size from the current measured foot and the manufacturer’s recommended allowance. Adding several sizes “for growth” can create excess movement and make the conversion less useful.

Re-measure growing feet periodically instead of building large future growth into one purchase.
