Hat Size Chart
Measure around the head where the hat will sit and use the nearest row.
| Head circumference | Letter size (brand-dependent) | Fitted reference |
|---|---|---|
| 54.9 cm / 21.6 in | S | 6 7/8 |
| 55.8 cm / 22.0 in | S–M | 7 |
| 56.8 cm / 22.4 in | M | 7 1/8 |
| 57.7 cm / 22.7 in | M | 7 1/4 |
| 58.7 cm / 23.1 in | L | 7 3/8 |
| 59.6 cm / 23.5 in | L | 7 1/2 |
| 60.6 cm / 23.9 in | XL | 7 5/8 |
| 61.5 cm / 24.2 in | XL | 7 3/4 |
Use circumference before fitted fractions
Measure the head first and treat the fitted fraction or S/M/L label as the converted value. That makes it easier to compare brands that use different naming systems.
If the measurement falls between two rows, consider whether the hat is rigid, adjustable, stretch-fitted, or shapeable.
